Occasional anxiety is a normal part of life. But people with anxiety disorders often experience intense, excessive worry and irrational fear about everyday situations. These symptoms are difficult to control and can last a long time, often starting during childhood or the teen years and continuing into adulthood. This can lead sufferers of anxiety disorders to believe their extreme feelings are actually normal and prevent them from seeking the help they need.
This test is merely a place to start. It’s not a medical diagnosis and it can’t tell you what you’re experiencing. But it can help put your experiences into perspective and give you to more accurate view of your feelings.
